Community Agreements

At WOLOHO, people come together to help one another: with apartments, jobs, services, connections, and much more. For this to work, we need a shared understanding of how we interact as a community. These guidelines apply to everyone who participates on WOLOHO, whether you post a listing, read, share, or respond to an offer.

How we treat each other

All people are welcome at WOLOHO, regardless of origin, skin color, religion, gender, or identity. We approach each other openly, use language that excludes no one, and describe our offerings as they truly are: with accurate details, fair rental prices, and clear wording without unnecessary jargon. Clarity builds trust, and everything we do here together is built on that trust.

How we communicate

Anyone who reaches out deserves a response, and anyone who schedules an appointment keeps it. We are transparent about how we make decisions so that everyone gets an equal chance, and we take responsibility for the impact of our words, especially online, where nuance is easily lost. If a misunderstanding does arise, we assume good intentions and address it directly.

How we stand up for each other

We meet tensions with empathy and direct dialogue, seek to understand all perspectives before passing judgment, and openly acknowledge any harm caused. We treat shared information as confidential, and we actively report unacceptable behavior. When posting listings, our terms of use and all applicable legal regulations apply, and everyone is personally responsible for complying with them.
