Terms of Use

- WOLOHO connects people looking to find homes, jobs, friends, events, services and much more.
- Every listing is reviewed personally by our team. Hand-curated, by humans for humans. We don’t sell data, we don’t run random ads, and we put community before profit.
- Receiving the Letters is free. Posting listings is paid depending on the category (see section 6).
- Anyone of legal age can join, except commercial (real-estate) agents or job placement services.
1. General
The WOLOHO Letters are a service of WOLOHO GmbH and provide weekly information on work, commercial spaces and business (Workletter), mutual support, friendships, love, events, courses, services, workshops, trainings and retreats (Loveletter), as well as housing offers, swaps and requests (Homeletter). In addition, you can subscribe to special offers, which we send out occasionally. Our Letters are available in German and English; the language of individual listings stays as written.
Subscribers can be private individuals, freelancers and companies. Commercial (real-estate) agents, comparable platforms, employment agencies, headhunters and similar businesses are excluded.
2. Subscribing to the Letters
To subscribe, all you need is your email address, which you confirm via an activation link (double opt-in). Subscribing creates a free Letter subscription. Only one subscription per person is allowed. Minors are not permitted to subscribe. You can update your email address, Letter selection or special offers anytime via “Letter settings” at the bottom of every Letter.
3. Cancelling your Letter subscription
You can cancel your Letter subscription anytime via Letter settings or the “Unsubscribe from all Letters” link at the bottom of every Letter. We reserve the right to end your subscription if the Terms of Use or Community Agreements are not respected.
4. Posting listings
You post listings via the entry forms on woloho.com. We review every listing personally and confirm it before it appears in the Letter. The default runtime is 1 week; for paid listings you can extend it (see section 6). After the runtime ends, your listing no longer appears in new Letters. From your account you can edit, delete or withdraw listings anytime. For Workspace listings (Workletter) and Homeletter listings you can upload up to 3 photos, which appear in the online Letter.
Customer account
If you post paid listings, you’ll get a customer account. There you manage your personal details, Letter settings, active and past listings, as well as credit packages (see section 6).
Responsibility and content
You are solely responsible for your content. We don’t make it our own and are not required to review it under § 7 DDG (German Digital Services Act). You make sure your content doesn’t violate any laws, third-party rights or public morals, and that you hold the necessary usage rights. Identity details must be truthful. Posting under a false identity can have criminal consequences.
Links are allowed, as long as they don’t lead to external job portals, classified-ad or housing-market platforms. Sexist, pornographic, racist or illegal content is not allowed, nor are offers that violate laws or public morals (e.g. weapons, content harmful to minors, propaganda material, protected animals, pirated copies, medication, narcotics). We review listings manually and automatically and reserve the right to move, edit or delete them.
5. Community Agreements
At WOLOHO, respectful, fair and diverse interactions matter to us. Our Community Agreements reflect our values: diversity, fairness, humanity, mindfulness, sustainability and authenticity. They apply to everyone who posts listings, receives Letters, forwards offers or responds to them.
6. Prices
All prices are per week and include 19 % VAT (gross prices). Listings appear for 1 week (one issue) by default.

With Top placement, your listing appears in its own category above all others.
Extended runtime
For paid listings you can extend the runtime to 2 or 4 weeks and save compared to single bookings. In the Workletter, the discount is 20 % for 2 weeks and 35 % for 4 weeks, applied to the corresponding multiple of the total price. In the Loveletter, the discount is 20 % for 2 weeks. The longer your listing stays visible, the more people you reach and the lower the price per week.
Credit packages
From your customer account, you can buy credit packages in advance and use them to pay for listings:

Credit packages cannot be paid out and are not transferable.
Payment
You can pay for listings by credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, other payment methods shown at checkout, or with credit. The charge happens only after we have reviewed and accepted your listing. In the Workletter, you can also pay by invoice (payment within 14 days, electronic delivery only). In case of payment delays, we may require advance payment for new orders.
7. Refunds
A refund (in the form of credit) is possible as long as your listing hasn’t been published yet. Contact us before the relevant submission deadline (Workletter: Mon 2 pm, Loveletter: Tue 2 pm, Homeletter: Wed 2 pm). After publication, the right of withdrawal expires under § 356 (4) BGB (German Civil Code). The link processing fee remains payable even if you cancel before publication.
8. Usage rights
For all content you submit (images, texts, descriptions), you grant WOLOHO GmbH a simple, unlimited usage right in terms of time, location and content, covering all known and yet unknown forms of use, including publication, reproduction, distribution, public access, database rights and transfer to third parties. The WOLOHO Letter is copyright-protected as a database. It may be forwarded unchanged as a whole, but not altered or stored in other databases.
9. Liability
We do not become a contractual party to agreements made as a result of a listing, and we are not liable for losses or damages from transactions between users. We accept no liability for linked external content and remove links in case of legal violations. You release WOLOHO GmbH from third-party claims arising from improper use. Violations lead to account deletion or suspension; in serious cases, legal action. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality or legality of listings, nor the identity or behaviour of other users. We are not liable for damages to hardware or software. We do not guarantee one-hundred-percent availability.
10. Data protection
We handle your data carefully, treat it confidentially and don’t share it with third parties. By subscribing, you consent to storage; you can have your data deleted anytime. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
11. Final provisions
We are reachable Monday to Thursday. Please report listings that break the rules, violations or suspicious offers to hello@woloho.com. WOLOHO GmbH may change, suspend or end the service at any time without notice, particularly if proper operation cannot be ensured technically or legally. We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use; you accept the changes unless you object in writing within 14 days by email. German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, to the extent permitted.
